You are cordially invited to the historic Grand Opening of the country’s first Black-owned Entheogenic Church, Akoma. Join us on June 29 at 1727 Telegraph Avenue in Oakland, as we embark on a journey to celebrate expanding access to plant medicine, healing, and community connections. This gathering will be hosted by Oakland Hyphae who will bring together an esteemed panel of psychedelic assisted therapists and medicine workers such as Ayize Jama-Everett and Kufikiri Imara directors of A Table of of Our Own to discuss the benefits of and uses of psychedelic medicine in the Black community!

At Akoma, which translates to “heart” symbolizing love, goodwill, and endurance, we welcome you to be part of a transformative experience.  Akoma offers high quality, entheogenic sacraments such as mushrooms, and mushroom products like micro-doses, gummies and chocolates as well as DMT in a safe and convenient location (right above the 19th Street BART next to the Fox Theater downtown). We are also EXTREMELY excited to announce that the International Psychedelics Conference (9/14-15) and Hyphae Retreats Jamaica retreat (9/9 -14) will be held in Montego Bay at the Rastafari Indigenous Village. We have a fantastic relationship with the folks at RIV and we feel as if it would only be right to collaborate with them on such a historic occasion. Our retreat will be held from September the 9-14 and will be facilitated by Veladya Chapman and Mikeala De La Myco . The retreat will include a number of offerings from breath work, yoga, aura cleansing and, of course, fungi medicine. Space for this offering is extremely limited so please secure your space asap!
