Maurice Byrd is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience transforming mental health care through harm reduction psychotherapy.
As the Director of Training and Business Operations at the Harm Reduction Therapy Center, Maurice has:
Created programs serving individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use disorders, and chronic mental health conditions.
Delivered mental health services in diverse environments, from schools and private practices to prisons and drop-in centers.
Specialized in MDMA for PTSD and Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAT), blending these techniques with traditional psychotherapy.
Maurice’s dedication to accessible and transformative care has made him a respected educator, trainer, and author in the field.
